Mariani Landscape Assists The Liberty Prairie Conservancy

Libertyville, Illinois – May 16, 2009 – This past weekend members of Mariani Landscape’s design team took time out of their weekend to volunteer on Sunday morning, planting and promoting native prairie restoration in Lake County. The Liberty Prairie Conservancy holds a popular family oriented cycling event each year, to get their members and interested folks out to the amazing trail system they have created in an area off of Highway 45, part of a wide ranging land conservation effort in our home county. Mariani Landscape donated machine time and construction labor at the Oak Openings site a few years ago, to improve the former farm site’s soil in order to make a prairie planting such as was done this past Sunday, possible.
