In 2007, Mariani became the first landscape design, installation and maintenance firm in the country to receive ISO 9001 certification, signifying Mariani’s dedication to client satisfaction.
Mariani Landscape is known for installing high profile projects such as Evening Island at Chicago Botanic Gardens and the restoration of Lake Forest’s historic downtown district, as well as numerous Chicago area residential projects. Over the years, Mariani has grown into three companies:
- Mariani Landscape’s 17-acre headquarters in Lake Bluff integrates a design studio, plant holding yard and greenhouses. An additional office in Bolingbrook services the southwest suburbs.
- With two locations and over 550 acres in Kenosha, Wisconsin and Garden Prairie, Illinois, Mariani Nurseries supplies quality trees, ornamental shrubs and hard goods to the wholesale landscape industry.
- Hampshire Farms is 50 acres of state-of-the-art greenhouses and outdoor production facilities and grows a wide variety of perennials available throughout the Midwest.
As providers of landscape services, Mariani’s passion for the environment is ingrained in its corporate culture. Recently the firm adopted sustainable business practices, such as the use of bio-diesel to fuel trucks and its 100 percent organic lawn care program.
